Data

By the middle of 2017, we had approximately 4000 female and 400 male participants in SnartForaeldre.dk. For most exposures, the female population can be combined with the previous Snart-Gravid.dk cohort of approximately 6000 women. Some data can also be combined with our US sister study, PRESTO, for which we have enrolled approximately 6000 female an 1500 male participants.

The self-reported data cover the following topics:

• Sociodemographic information
• Menstrual period characteristics
• Sexual habits and contraception
• Previous pregnancies
• Medical history, including use of medication
• Height, weight and physical activity (IPAQ)
• Diet
• Alcohol intake
• Smoking
• Stress and depression
